France's reward is triple England's!

8 June 2012, Fédération Française de Football (FFF) announced the reward of €7.5 million for their team if they win EURO 2012, which means each player will receive €320,000 if they can repeat France's glorious history in 1984 and 2000.

However, even if they only reach quarter-final, each player will still receive €100,000. This amount is increased by another €50,000 if they win the quarter-final. Reaching the final, another €70,000 will be added, and finally another €100,000 for each player for winning the final, making it total of €320,000 if French National Team wins the EURO 2012.

On the other hand, disqualification at group stage like EURO 2008, the squad will not receive a penny.

Would Ribery and his teammates able to make repeat history of 1984 and 2000?

England team, the French team's opponent on their first match 11 June, is only promised €125,000 each player if they win the EURO. This amount of reward was considered as "too mediocre" by France 24 newspaper, as England team has never won an EURO cup before.

The second highest reward belongs to Germany team as each player will receive €300,000, increased by €50,000 in comparison to 2008.

This is the way DFB motivates Joachim Loew's squad to bring the first big title to Germany within the last 16 years. After EURO 1996, the highest achievement of Germany team in international scene were runner up at World Cup 2002 and EURO 2008.

Each player from Spain will also receive €300,000 if they defend the title successfully. Meanwhile, Italy promises their squad €200,000 per piece.
