Nadal cruises through, Murray says goodbye to Paris

Although it's general expectation from the crowd to have some spectacular tennis like Tuesday's intense and powerful quarter-finals, the wish was not granted.

Nadal hasn't dropped a set, and his opponent in the quarter-final, Almagro wasn't able to break that. He fought hard, with big shot, powerful backhand, but it was just not enough. The game ended 7-6, 6-2, 6-3 for Nadal. Nothing much to say about this match as Nadal is still the same like he always is. Let's take a look at the detail stats:

Meanwhile, Ferrer beat Murray after 4 sets, sending the UK most famous player home, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3, 6-2. Murray said after the match: "He is so solid, so consistent. If you're not converting your opportunities, it turns to so many long games, and then the pressure can build on your serve."

Interestingly, Ferrer and Federer are both 30, and it has been so long since the two semi-finalists are that old since Laver and Ken Rosewall in 1969.

Let's take a look:
