13 June 2012, Ukraine's hero, Shevchenko, was in a car accident few hours after victory against Sweden.
On the way back to Ukraine's camp, a Jeep hit Shevchenko's car from the back. At that time, his wife, Kristen Pazik, was in the car.
According to Ukraine's newspaper, the car of former AC Miland and Chelsea's player was slightly damaged, and there were no injury. Ukraine's veteran gave autograph to some fans who were at the scene before leaving.
With the victory over Sweden, Ukraine is currently on top of group D, competing with England and France for a spot in quarter final.
